Scooter Size Guide

The size of your scooter is important when it comes to using it to the full potential.

As the size is based on personal preference and riding style, it is hard to pinpoint an exact perfect height for each individual. We have tried to create a size table in proportion to the user's height, based on a skill level where the user is yet to decide on a street or park orientation.

If you want to make sure that you get the optimal height for the specific user, we recommend using “the broomstick method” which is described below.

As freestyle scooters are made for tricks they are not size adjustable, due to a lack of strength in the adjustment mechanism.

All complete scooters on our website have their total height specified in the specifications. The total height is measured from the ground to the top of the handlebar.

Freestyle scootering is normally divided into two different categories; street- and park riding. Normally, a street rider will prefer a taller scooter compared to park riders, which makes it challenging to make a general size table that is catered to all types of riders.

The "broomstick method"

In short: measure from your hip to the ground and add 5 cm = optimal total height for the scooter.

A simple way to find the perfect scooter size is by using the "broomstick method”:

1. Hold a broomstick horizontally in the air
2. Place it in the height, that you would prefer the handlebar when riding on a scooter (this is typically around the hip, but can vary based on personal preference).
3. When the optimal placement is found, measure from the broomstick to the floor.
4. Add approximately 5 cm

This measurement, when holding the broom stick, indicates how tall you would like the handlebar while standing on the scooter. While standing on the scooter, you will normally be raised around 5 cm above the ground. Adding these 5 cm to the measured height from the broomstick to the floor leaves you with the perfect total height for your scooter

An example: 70 cm (broomstick to floor measurement) + 5 cm = 75 cm (optimal total height)
