SchumacherMoers, GermanyVerified Buyer1 of 5The description of the scooter lists the brake type as "Flex Fender" (FF). SkatePro itself links to this and states that it can be used for braking.
After only three months of use, the FF breaks; the rider is an 8-year-old child.
Despite the information provided (still on the website in January 2026), SkatePro claims that an FF cannot be used for braking and, after contacting customer service, refuses to provide a warranty/replacement/repair.
Conclusion: according to the (current) description of the scooter and the SkatePro guides, an FF is clearly a brake, the brake breaks after only three months, but SkatePro claims in email communication that FF is not a brake and that it is not a warranty case.
Poor service – we do not recommend you at our skate park.
Edit to Skatepro's response: Your "recommendation" is nowhere to be found; we followed the information on your website. And apparently, it's completely okay with you if the scooter only lasts 3 months....Reply from SkateProHey, thanks for the review.
We are sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with our service!
A Flexfender brake is an elongated pre-bent metal plate that is fixed vertically to the deck with one or more bolts. When the brake is applied, the entire metal plate is pressed onto the roller to create a braking effect. It is, so to speak, a mixture of a conventional brake and a fender.
The main function of the Flexfender is to ensure that the rear roller cannot be accidentally touched with the foot. However, it can also be used for braking.
Due to their design, flex fenders have a shorter service life and brakes are generally a wearing part that can break after a short time. We always recommend braking with your foot on the ground when using a scooter, just like when skateboarding, for example.
I hope this has clarified everything a little. Sorry for the inconvenience!

The Panda Cub feels sturdy, stable, and just the right weight for little ones. My son is only 5 years old, and he actually managed to drop in from a halfpipe on it! That says a lot about how safe and easy to ride it feels.
At the same time, it looks and feels like a real trick scooter, not a toy. Cool design and a real sense of quality. My son is thrilled—and after his halfpipe debut, Dad can hardly give it anything less than five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Roberto LučevŠibenik, CroatiaVerified Buyer5 of 5🇭🇷🇭🇷🇭🇷
