Replace skate brakes regularly
There is no getting around this one. At some point, your pre-mounted inline skate brake pads or toe stoppers will be worn down and they will need to be replaced. Luckily this procedure is very simple, and it will usually only require a new set of skate brakes, an Allen key and a few minutes of your time. In other words, there is no reason to take your skates to the shop, to have this replacement carried out.
One very important thing to remember is to change the skate brakes before they are completely worn down. If this has already happened it might be more difficult to replace it. If you have any problems replacing your brakes don't hesitate to contact us in our shop or via phone.
Skate brakes vs. no brakes
If you are a fitness skater, we will highly recommend, that you mount a skate brake when starting with skating. If your primary skate destination is the park, you should be fine without a brake. Upon the ramps, a skate brake can actually be quite annoying and more in the way than anything else.
In this category, you will only find toe stoppers and inline skate brake pads. And even though we might not sell the skates you use, we may well have inline skate brakes or the right toe stoppers for them. So, take a look at our wide selection on this page. If you cannot find the skate brakes you are looking for, feel free to contact us.
