Choosing My Foil Board

A foil board, also referred to as a hydrofoil board, is the equipment you will balance on while gliding through the water. The actual foil that is positioned beneath the board is sold separately and must be purchased on its own.

When selecting your board, consider the type of foil boarding you plan to engage in. Foil surfboards are designed slightly differently than foil wakeboards, so keep this in mind during your selection process. Additionally, the board should match your skill level and weight. For beginners, a larger, high-volume board is generally recommended for its stability. As you gain experience, you can opt for smaller boards to enhance maneuverability.
