Martin Madshus' ambition of creating quality skis and boots started in 1906 in his father's barn, where he crafted his first hand-made wooden skis. In 1928, Madshus won their first Olympic Gold medal and in 1936 they invent the worlds first glued sandwich construction skis. During the following two decades, Madshus wins several more Olympic medals and in 1974 they take the lead in innovative ski technologies by beginning on fibreglass ski manufacturing.
In 2010, World Cup athletes sponsored by Madshus gets incredible results: 63 first-place, 39 second-place and 40 third-place finishes.
