We’ve backed Skate4Kids on their impressive long-distance longboarding trips in altruistic support of kids since 2019. This year, they decided to skate from Rotterdam in the Netherlands to Calais in France to raise funds for the Swedish Foundation for Muscular Dystrophy Research (SMDF).
Recognising the significance of the cause, we decided to do something out of the ordinary to support these noble skaters on their selfless mission to improve the lives of kids with Muscular Dystrophy.
1 Order = 1 Euro
During Easter week, SkatePro donated €1 to Skate4Kids for every order placed, raising an outstanding 72,638 SEK (€ 6,170) – thanks to our devoted customers. The money was donated uncut to SMDF, and we are extremely honoured to have been part of this.
Following Skate4Kids is a true joy for us all here at SkatePro. As they push themselves across long distances, they push their own boundaries, and it is all done in hopes of improving conditions for kids who have to fight their own battles against disease.
A special holler and love to Maxim, an 8-year-old SkatePro customer from the Netherlands! Instead of keeping his refunded €9, Maxim chose to donate it to help kids with muscular dystrophy. Maxim—you're a true hero!
