Through a focused collaboration with Team Rider Ed Zunda, WeThePeople have come up with this street-ready freestyle BMX frame. Ed was clear on what he wanted and the result is a short rear end at only 13.2", which allows you to perform tricks super fast and still stay balanced.
This Awake BMX frame has a steep angle on the fresh 127mm tall hourglass-shaped headtube of 75.5° which pulls in the balance point a bit and provides Ed with the platform he needs to pull his tricks.
For the 2018 version, the Awake has seen a few updates, including the re-designed headtube. Among them are a taller 9" standover height, 7.5mm thick invest cast dropouts featuring integrated chain tensioners for a super street ready result.
