From the original creators of the, at the time, revolutionary Standard Compression System (SCS) comes a new approach to this awesome compression type. Proto redesigned the SCS and Sentinel is the result. A solid no-nonsence approach to stunt scooter clamps.
The Sentinel embodies 8 years of working with SCS and has a lot of improvements over the older versions. A key focus has been to make the connexion more supportive of the taller bars that is trending at the moment. This has been achieved through a combination of upgrades. The area supporting the bar is a full 2" which makes it 30% more stabile than it's predecessors.
Proto decided to go with 8mm bolts with 6mm heads on the clamp bolts. They use an offset slit which provides more receiving thread - again adding to the strong and lasting connexion.
And last but not least Proto have added a threaded slot for access for the spreader bolt. This eliminates the need for applying the "penny"-trick when tightening SCS compression setups.
