Andrei Bolonin Dublin 12, Ireland Verified Buyer 5 of 5 Perfect! Isaac Noël Vancouver, Canada Verified Buyer 3 of 5 Over all, better than the Next 1 What I don’t like; the boa system has a metal cable which is great except the rubber cover has already broken off, exposing the metal to the elements and I’m not sure how long that’ll last through winter skating. The liners had some glue issues, Velcro for the bottom heel lift completely delaminated, and they’ve ripped already. I do hope I can just buy an updated 45 strap tho on my old set they were breaking often. What I do like; the extra wiggle room in the toe and ankle is amazing, my toes no longer go numb, and they do feel more responsive than the older version of the next. the slightly longer frame (243 to 260) is great for the added stability at speed and hasn’t affected my flow heel toe transitions enough for me to dislike it. As for the wheels I swapped my hydrogens with rustproof bearings. on the site the photos are confusing, the liner does not come with a boa system, the shell does. Would I pay what I did again? No 7.5/10 Reply from SkatePro Thank you for your honest and detailed feedback! We’re sorry the skates weren’t the perfect match for you, but we truly appreciate you sharing your experience. Feedback like this is very helpful to us and to other customers when deciding whether these skates are the right fit for their needs. /SkatePro Team Benny Machtinger Thornhill, Canada Verified Buyer 1 of 5 I was really looking forward to these skates but was extremely disappointed in their performance. I can't even begin to tell you what a letdown these were. As someone with over 30 years of experience skating on 80s and 90s, I was ready for the 110s. They're supposed to be snug and form-fitting, but they're the exact opposite—not to mention that one of the skates has a huge bump that digs into the arch of your foot.
