Sharpening of ice skates at SkatePro: Available for both hockey skates and figure skates.
This option can be added when purchasing ice skates from SkatePro.
We provide only standard edge-sharpening.
"The manufacturers deliver ice skates with a basic sharpening sufficient for skating. However, this sharpening is not very effective and does not match the quality of freshly sharpened ice skates" (by Kenwin, Ice skate expert at SkatePro)
Sharpening ice skates constitutes a service, and the usual return rights do not apply. If you purchase both skates and sharpening, and decide to return the skates, you are still entitled to return the skates. Please be aware that the quality of the sharpening is also influenced by the quality of the ice skates themselves. Consequently, a less expensive skate will never be as sharp and effective as a more costly ice skate.
The stated price covers the sharpening of a pair of skates.

Perhaps you could offer several types of sharpening?Reply from SkateProHi Hanae, thank you for your feedback. We have one standard type of sharpening that is suitable for both children's ice skates and figure skates. This provides a good start for beginning to use the ice skates. 🤙 / The SkatePro teamI. smithMaryborough, AustraliaVerified Buyer4 of 5Absolutely perfectAhmad GhazalEskilstuna, SwedenVerified Buyer5 of 5Great.Mette Juul-MortensenVordingborg, DenmarkVerified Buyer4 of 5Sharp ice skates.Reply from SkateProThank you for your feedback // Your SkatePro team :)Melissa B.COBURG, AustraliaVerified Buyer5 of 5I don't know how to judge, but seemed sharp.Thomas GrahamLiss, United KingdomVerified Buyer1 of 5Not very sharp at allReply from SkateProThank you for sharing your experience!
