Decent scooter for commuting in the city. However, it has come with its share of quirks.
The carrying strap broke on the second day, replaced with one with metal clips, bearings are slow, replaced them as well with quality skate bearings. Will handle bumps, however do not try to ride it off of curbs, the wheels are not strong enough, they will start to bend. The deck flexes as well with weight, giving it a flimsy feel. The head tube flexes as well, however the locking mechanism does not feel like it is going to collapse while riding. All in all, if you don't plan to be rough with it and with a few modifications, you can have a nice commuting vehicle that is fast and reliable for the cost. |
