The headtorch is excellent for running in the mountains, providing a wide and uniform beam. Second lowest setting = battery life of 5 or 6 hours. The included battery is not as shown on this website, but is a white silicone covered cylinder. The USB C port is open to ingress of water, which I regard as fairly poor design. The straps are easily removed for washing, however there is a major design flaw with this headband, which is that the wire extending from the battery to the torch is insufficiently long, causing the battery to be pulled off centre from the back of the head, which affects the weight distribution and comfort. Other manufacturers such as Silva, simply avoid this issue by having a short section of coiled wire, just like a telephone. The last problem with this torch is the difficulty in obtaining an additional battery. The only source seems to be to go direct to the manufacturer, who charges 69 euro for one, plus postage from Norway.
