Savant 180 Longboard Truck

The guys from the Paris Truck Co. have been hard at work coming up with the Savant truck for longboards. A new approach to some of the key elements that make up a truck.

One of the main changes has been to go with a fully forged hanger as opposed to the standard that is cast hangers. This provides you with a much stronger truck that is also very precise in both control and tolerances. The pivot point is a lot smaller and inspired by race riders. This let's Paris use a thicker pivot cup bushing that in turn yields a better vibration dampening and a smoother ride.

Another big change is the patended captive axle lock system. It ensures dead straight trucks that stay straight a lot longer than other systems. The design around the kingpin construction has been improved greatly to help eliminate "slopping" whilst sliding and also make the ride a lot more stabile at high speeds.
