Lock in your feet while cruising
When taking the Sunset Longboard by Ocean Pacific out for a roll, one thing is certain. You'll get the feeling that your feet are locked-in because of its deep drop-down deck shape. This provides an intense feeling with the board, that you won't experience with standard shapes.
Drop-down and drop-through
Beside a dropped deck shape, the Sunset also comes with drop-through truck mounting for the ultimate "close-to-the-ground" ride.
- Carve aggressively and perform controlled powerslides with its drop-down shape
- Push and maintain control at speeds with ease thanks to its drop-through truck mounting
- Meant for cruising and freeriding, but also suitable for light downhill skating
- In general, an increased board feeling because of its over-all low setup

Lockdown in place so can only skate close to home so I got this as a release mechanism and as it was on sale. Never had a longboard before, let alone a double drop. Quality of the board is as expected for the price, there is a little rattle from the front truck and wheels that I need to figure out but its not a biggie and road surfaces here are poor. This cruises and carves nicely, is much more versatile than I expected and the double drop means your feet feel locked in which I love. Looking forward to lockdown ending so I can find some longer hills. | ||
