The Super Tacks AS1 Ice skates from CCM is made with high-level players in mind and comes with a bunch of advanced technologies.
Starting from the top - The patented Mono Frame 360 has a great anatomical fit thanks to the one-piece design, which increases the contact area with the entire boot compared to a two-piece. In other words, a one-piece design makes you feel more connected to the boot.
The boot itself features strong carbon composite which is really stiff and offers a superb power transfer on every stride. The sole used on this model comes with an improved heel area, making energy transfer even smoother.
The rigid and thermo-formable core comes with a liner made from the TotalDri material. Add to that the extra vent on the bottom of the boot, and chances are pretty good, that your feet will stay close to dry during the game.
The Super Tacks AS1 features the Tritech Flex tongue. This tongue protects you against lace bites and allows the forward flex some players really want. It's well padded for an improved comfort and protection.
The holder and runner consist of SB4.0 and Speedblade Black. The durable SB4.0 holder has an increased attack angle which provides better strides and cornering. The Black Speedblade comes in an aggressive-looking oxide coating, providing an extended edge life and extra resistance to corrosion.
Heat moldable for a customised fit
Even though they raised the height of the quarter package and added even more technologies to these high-level skates, they're still a bit lighter compared to last years model.
Notice: We always recommend that you get a skate of this caliber sharpened at your local Ice hockey stadium or a local specialist.
Based on our experience with CCM, we have decided to list the skates with sizes matched to true shoe sizes. So, when selecting yourself a new skate, simply match it to your current shoe size.
CCM uses their very own conversion table and has labelled their product boxes with their own “EU-sizes". This means that the box will most likely not match your selection of size, which is why we urge you to try on the skates before sending them back.
