For what they give up in protection you gain in breathability, comfort and freedom of movement. By no means heavy protection, but adequate where it matters on the tailbone for those epic season ending falls and the added cushioning in the hips. Not sure what the flank protections for but I guess I’m gonna find out. | |

Burned by Powerslide yet again. The padding in the butt area is thinner than paper, complete waste of money, happens every time I buy a Powerslide item. Do not buy this item! You can have mine out the trash if you really want it, but I strongly suggest buying triple 8, they won’t rip you off like Powerslide will. Absolutely horrible trash!!!! First time customer wont be returning, make sure you phone Sam Crofts and thank him for that. | |

I live in the USA and was hesitant to make an overseas purchase. I wanted a good quality pair of protective pants for inline skating. I am just getting started at the age of 68 and protection is a top priority for me. I have tried two others brands and wasn’t too happy with what I got. The Powerslide Protective Pants are the best! I had an issue to begin with but contacted customer service and I was amazed at the fast, friendly and efficient service I received from them. Using them for snowboarding. I was initially concerned the padding locations are not be the best choice for my bum and the protection could prove to be inadequate. However, after 2 snowboarding sessions wearing these impact shorts I can confidently say protection is quite adequate :) I like to ride hard and fast and when I fall it's pretty serious to say the least :) I think it's enough to say now I'm having a good laugh going down as I feel completely protected and my confidence just sky rocketed. Also, I found the hard plastic bits to be the perfect addition when hitting ramps. | |

I'm a tall skater 6'4" and 230 lbs, so when I fall (which is frequently ;) I can hit the deck pretty hard. These have saved my ass and my hips on numerous occasions. I won't freeride without them now. Absolute bargain for all that protection. | |

Pantaloni Powerslide davvero ottimi! indossati sono comodi e lasciano traspirare le gambe senza sudare. Adoperati per circa due ore e se pur coperti con un pantalone in cotone pesante non ho riscontrato problemi, sia nel movimento che nello spessore delle protezioni. Una cosa da tenere in considerazione è come calzano. Scegliere una taglia in meno se non si è particolarmente "robusti". Pour ceux qui ont tendance à passer plus de temps sur le bitume que sur leurs rollers il est quand même préférable de se trouver un pantalon type jean assez large à enfiler par dessus, pour que les pads en mousse ne s'usent pas trop vite. Pour ce qui est du site c'est de loin de le moins cher que j'ai pu trouver, et la réception du colis s'est faite dans les temps annoncés, pas de mauvaise surprise. | |

I can only think that all these positive reviews are from people who like the emotional comfort of these shorts, but who actually fall very rarely. I fall about 10 times each session, and these shorts are completely useless because the padding is thin, and there absolutely no padding over the greater trochanter of the femur (the protrusion of bone that you fall on when you fall on your hip). The leg design is really poorly conceived: most of the padding and plastic plate is mid-thigh (which is protected by the quad muscle), and there's none on the upper femur and hip. Seriously; it's like they deliberately put padding in all the surrounding areas to make the "hole" even more obvious. Don't waste your money; if you need proper hip padding for learning tricks etc, get a hockey girdle. I'm returning these. | |

de kanske skyddar bra, men sömmarna håller inte för en krasch (knappt för att sätta sig ner), och de tillåter inte shorts eller skidbyxor ovanpå. Inte optimala, jag kommer köpa en annan modell när dessa är slut. annars välventilierade och bra. och billiga. | |

Købt til at træne slide. Stor risiko for at falde på både bagdel og hofte i den diciplin. Er faldet en enkelt gang hvor side beskyttelse virkede sammen med knæbeskytter. Side og lænde skjold i plastic materiale virker lidt store lige nu. Efter et hårdt fald måske ikke. Halebens beskyttelsen virker som om den vil afværge et evt fald. Er yderst mærkbar når man sidder ned. Og så det mentale. Man tør lidt mere med en god beskyttelse. | |

Jeg køpte Powerslide crash pants til beskyttelse når jeg står snowboard. Jeg har ikke tidligere hatt crash pants. Jeg hadde første tur med mine nye crash pants sist weekend. Men jeg er ikke fornøyd. De har svært ved at holde seg på plads. De gir heller ikke den nødvendige beskyttelse af halebenet hvilket er svært utsatt når en står snowboard. I tillegg er platene på lårene "bulky". Jeg er derfor på utkikk etter en annen modell/annet brand. | |
