The Shift goggles are derived from the Open goggles from Out Of. A ski/snowboard goggle for the avid racer and Freerider. Where the Open goggles are full fledged no-holds-barred, the Shift finds a compromise for those not trying to break the bank with their new goggles.
These Black Shift goggles have a cylindrical design with an overlapping frame edge. This limits the field of view a bit more as opposed to the Open goggles. But it does help keep the cost down.
Incorporating the Dual Frame design which is a compilation layers of varied foam and frame materials for an optimal combination of impact protection, comfort and fog free skiing. It has a similar lens change system like the Open. Which means a lens change is over in a mere 6 seconds.
Despite the framed design the Shift still produces a field of view at a solid 183° horizontal. These goggles come with a Red MCI lens that is made with an S3 classification for partly sunny to light overcast days. For full cloudy weather and snowy conditions you can use the Persimmon lens included.
A focused group of testers has deemed the Shift goggle from Out Of their best value-for-money goggle.
Microfiber bag is included.
Lens Light Conditions:
- Red MCI: S3 Sunny/Slightly cloudy
- Persimmon by Carl Zeiss: S1 Cloudy/Snowy
